Al Bassam produces this HD underground water tank in High-Density Polyethylene and moulds it specifically for buried installation across homes, buildings and commercial premises. The capacity suits daily storage requirements where an above-ground tank cannot be accommodated. The tank wall is built from 3 functional high-density polyethylene layers. A UV-stabilised outer layer protects the exterior, an extra-thick insulation layer helps reduce heat transmission, and a food-grade inner layer is suitable for potable-water storage. The 400 gallon body is moulded as one piece and carries wide vertical ribs along its walls, combining the reinforcement and the storage vessel within a single structure.
Below-ground placement is the defining characteristic of this 400 gallon model. The volume that would otherwise occupy a yard or service area is held beneath the surface, helping preserve the ground above it for other site uses. The construction described below supports that underground placement.
