Al Bassam 2000 gallon HD underground water tank is the largest capacity in the underground range, designed for developments, commercial premises and project sites with high daily water demand. Produced as an underground polyethylene water tank in High-Density Polyethylene and moulded for buried installation, it holds a substantial reserve in a position where an above-ground tank of the same volume would dominate the site. Layer count, body forming and reinforcement remain unchanged at the largest size in the range. The 2000 gallon body is moulded as a single piece and built with 3 functional high-density polyethylene layers. These combine UV-stabilised exterior material, an extra-thick insulation layer that helps reduce heat transmission, and a food-grade inner surface suitable for potable water. Wide vertical ribs reinforce the shell along its height and a threaded cover closes the access point.
The largest model in the range is built to the same construction standard as the smaller capacities. 3 functional layers, a single moulded body, reinforcing ribs and a food-grade internal surface are all applied at 2000 gallon rather than simplified for the volume.
