Al Bassam 300 gallon HD underground water tank is a High-Density Polyethylene model developed for buried water storage at homes, villas and smaller project sites. As an underground polyethylene water tank, its performance below ground depends on both the material itself and the way the body is formed around it. The tank is designed specifically for underground installation rather than adapted from an above-ground format. The body is moulded as a single unit, so the 300 gallon shell carries no seams or bonded panels along its walls. That shell is built from 3 functional high-density polyethylene layers, combining a UV-stabilised exterior, an extra-thick insulation layer that helps limit the impact of surrounding heat, and a food-grade inner layer suitable for potable water. Wide vertical ribs are formed into the same body and add structural support without introducing separate components.
Material and construction are developed together in this 300 gallon model. Because the body leaves the mould as one piece, its ribs, layers and wall thickness form part of a single structure rather than separate additions to it.
